Uh, nevermind!

Well, considering that life has started coming at us at warp speed due to recently entering a new swim league in a town 45 minutes away that swims 3-5 nights a week for 3 hours, school starting back up with third, fourth and sixth grade, one child in middle school band, 1 in gymnastics & piano, and another in a fitness class, I've had very little time to move my blog--much less compose thoughts here! Not to mention, that just covers what the short people in the house are up to. The momster and dadster of the house attempt to have lives outside of running a shuttle and hash slinging service.
I'll not attempt to cover the time we've missed, but I do promise to attempt to do better at updating occassionally. It may only be through photos and snippets of info, but it'll be better than nothing! Maybe.

We are home from a rather eventful trip to the beach. We had a great time, so we'll just focus on the positives for now!

We're enjoying the rest of our summer and spending time together with friends and family. The kids have some fun activities coming up, so we'll be good and busy!
WE LOVE SUMMER!

Another brilliant day of summer!
The kids were invited to a skating party today, and a great time was had by all.
Sam is a very lucky kid in that his classmates make up a very tight-knit group that have stuck together through thick and thin...well, as thick and as thin as you can get from kindergarten! Sam and Leonard have been buds since those wonderful days of kindergarten, and tonight...well, they learned....they learned that roller skating involves lots of landing in piles of kids....which they love.

Tomorrow is a mani-pedi day. Sweet!

Time trials today!
Sorry for the grainy photo.
Coach imparting last minute wisdom to the swimmer.
Look at that form!
We'll get official rank results at practice Monday night, but we're expecting lots of ribbons!
PDaddy is in this helicopter that flew over our house Friday.
Very weird moment.
We stood in the front yard and waved to him as he passed over.
Again, it was weird.
There he goes.....
We've had a lot of this lately.
A whole lot.
But I ain't complaining.
Sophy Claire was asked to be a flower girl for a friend's wedding.
She has found her calling in life.
Professional Flower Girl.

Booo--rrrringggg.
Really, we must find something a little more challenging for the kid.
(Rolling my eyes)
Always in charge.
She was diving for mussels off of the bottom of the cove.
He's smiling like he's up to something, isn't he?
The water was absolutely freezing, so of course, we had to walk in it.
I want to build a house by this babbling creek, but I think I'd always need to pee then.

Watch out, future military leaders of America. We'll either join you...or form our own regime and take you down.
He was really showing us his skills. Just prior to this photo, he was howling at the top of his lungs.
Me and my good boy!
She was a little intense, I must say. At one point, she was standing up on the inner tube while she hurdled through the water. Too bad those gals that do tricks on skis are out of vogue. She'd be a shoe in.
As he went down he shouted, "Remember the collar bone!"
