4th day of school, and I already am using my sick days. UG! We had to take Jack to the doc today for some probs of a male nature. Pretty scary, but he'll be okay. We go back to the doctor in 2 weeks to make sure that the meds have helped. Anyway, we're very relieved that there was a medicinal fix for it, or so we hope. The uroligist that we visited today was the same doc who did Sam's plumbing surgery in '02. He said that with this particular condition in a younger guy, he usually asks for several days of bedrest so as to not reinjure the area in question. He said it was serious, but tomorrow is a half day at school. We have no school on Monday, so I'm sending him to school tomorrow with a note that he is to walk from Point A to Point B. I think that will be fine. Once we get home, we'll just head straight to the couch. He was pretty upset that he didn't get to attend the swim team awards ceremony tonight. They were awarded their medals from the Championship Meet. PDadddy went and picked up his four medals to surprise him with. He was so proud of himself.
Sam and I spent this eve working on a little class project. He has to share it with his class tomorrow, and it looks rather...interesting. He wouldn't let me help him or interject any pointers at all, so I'm sure his teacher is going to wonder if his mom was present when the project went together. Ha.
I think we're going to a birthday party tomorrow eve for Sam, so I hope to convince PDaddy to grill for us while we're gone. Other than that, we have NO plans this weekend....except laundry! At this point, staying home and cleaning/doing laundry sounds very appealing. I promised PDaddy that I would make Pioneer Woman's Lasagna this weekend. I think I'll put it together Saturday, so we can have it Sunday after church. I have some fresh squash that is in dire need of being used, so maybe I'll serve that up with it.
Later taters~
