Jack and I are sitting on the couch in awe of the opening ceremony for the Olympics. This is unbelievable. PDaddy is shooting a wedding tonight. It's strange to have a Friday night wedding, but that is what the couple chose. I'm not sure what Sam and Sophy are doing, but it sure is quiet in the back of the house. YIKES! Better check that out. Oh, I LOVE the way they are representing the Chinese going to space in the ceremony. How cool are those people walking on the moon?! Oh, I just love the OLYMPICS! Sigggghhh. Now they are showing all of the faces of kids around the world......why must I cry? CHECK OUT THE FIREWORKS! SHAZAM! Oh my, the parade of nations is next!! What we've been waiting for!
I wanted to give you an idea of the school supplies I had to buy today. I realize not everyone has 3 children on the same campus and that makes for a lot of supplies, but still. I'm going to copy paste this from where I typed it out the other day, so I would have a more efficient list to shop from. Read it and weep. WEEP!

I'm weeping right with you!! I love school suppply shopping, but it's pretty crazy!! Um... what the heck are map colors? I wouldn't even know where to look for those!
I am not how many of everything I ended up buying for my three as I took the easy way out and bought them pre-packaged through the PTA. I did pick up three HUGE, heavy boxes at the back to school night. But your list does remind me why I stopped doing the shopping on my own. Of course it would be much easier to shop for the supplies now that all three are in school all day but I guess they need the supplies since they are at school. Catch 22, right.
