2010 Defenders of Liberty Air Show

Isn't he getting big? Sam and J have spent most days together since they were about 6 weeks old. Sometimes their closeness is frightening. As we entered the gates to the AFB, J made sure that Sam was protected from the sun! I just had to take a pic of the moment. I assure you. They were not posing for this photo. Sam didn't want to put on sunscreen, so J took the tube away from him and started applying it himself. Now THAT says a lot when a 9 year old boy puts sunscreen on his friend.

This looks like the B52 met with a bad end, but it actually just dropped a "wall of fire." The boys thought it was the coolest thing since individually wrapped cheese singles.
