Surprise #1:
My cousin and his wife, who had to resort to several horrible & expensive infertility treatments to conceive their daughter, Zaylee, found out today that they are pregnant, the old fashioned way. T~went to the doc expecting to find out what type of problem she was having, only to find out that she is pregnant! My other cousin is due the same week with her baby #3. This is all on my mom's side....where I have 1,256 first cousins. We've drawn up a family plan for world domination. Ssshhh, it's a secret.
Surprise #2:
One of my former students stopped by to surprise us today. Last we heard, he was in Iraq serving in a medic unit on the front lines, but he is home on leave and came for a visit. It was so good to see his smiling face and to have him meet our students. My students couldn't quite believe that I had taught him. "OMG! How long have you been teaching?" Haha. Yeah. Sometimes I ask myself that.
Surprise #3:
There was no surprise #3!
