Had a good time briefly visiting with friends at A's birthday this morning. Didn't get to stay too long, but it was good to see old faces! My daddy and Ben were knee deep in destroying the kitchen for the countertop installation on Monday, so I hurried home after stopping by. Hope A's second year of life is as super cool as her first! Looked like a swinging feista! Lots of babies needing naps! Hahha!
We had a fun time at our friend's annual crawfish boil this eve. The kids swam for about 4 hours (until some cool air blew in...brrr), we ate, and ate, and visited with folks. We ate lots of crawfish and enjoyed the warm weather! Downright hot!
Excited about the air show tomorrow. We'll be seeing the Blue Angels, and Jack is beyond excited about that. We'll be eating at my folks' tomorrow eve, and then I'm off Monday. YAY! The countertops will be here, and the painters are due to come the day after. Hope it all goes smoothly, but we are prepared in case it doesn't!
