Before the blackout...

I feel the all-too familiar twinges that let me know a migraine is brewing, so I'm going to keep this short while the kids play outside and DaddyP shoots a senior--not literally. Maybe I can recap yesterday/today before the blackout occurs.
We attended church with PDad's mom/stepdad yesterday in L'sport and then had lunch and visited for the afternoon while PDaddy shot some people--again, not literally. Lunch was great. PMac made brisket, potato salad, baked beans, salad, bread, cheese grits (which I think I ate entirely by myself), and a buttermilk pie. Yeah, we ate ourselves silly. It was too good. It was grey and drizzly, so we mostly stayed indoors and visitated, but PDad did manage to get his pics finished. We made it home around 5, I think, at which time I managed to do 4 loads of laundry, clean 3 bathrooms, get Sam's homework finished, and lay out clothes for Monday a.m. It was a mad dash, but I was somehow done by 9:30. Not really sure how that happened.
School was productive today, and the kids are working really well. I almost hate to have a break because we'll never get them back this way again. We are out for Spring Break next week, and they'll be permanently checked out--mentally--after that. Today was pleasantly quick, though, so I shouldn't complain about the little boogers too much. Tomorrow morning is another early day due to an awards breakfast ceremony where I have to say something touching and uplifting about a student. Great. Haha, just kidding, I really do have something touching and uplifting to say. So there.
PDaddy picked up groceries last week, and he grabbed two pre-made salads from the deli. I think I know what we'll be having for supper....along with a certain little orange pill that makes my migraine go bye-bye. We'll call that dessert.
