A To Do List of Sorts

We had a great time visiting the fam in South of Here, Louisiana. The kids played like a pack of wild indians, and we went to a neat Cajun restaurant with a live band and a dance floor. Sophy and Cousin E. tore up the dance floor the entire evening, stopping only briefly to put a bite of food in their mouths before hitting the dance floor again to dance to one Cajun jig after another. We ate some very tasty food. The ride home was filled with pouring rain for most of the way, but we made it home in time to get the things done that can't get done during the week while I'm at work. We had a blast! Now, the kids are in bed, and we're watching Super Bowl commercials while we Tivo Wipeout. Ahhhh, Wipeout!
(Edited to say: Did you see the previews for Land of the Lost during the Super Bowl! Hello! I can't believe it! I've been telling DaddyP for years about my favorite childhood show...sleestacks, Chaca, the father and children going over the waterfall and landing in the time of dinosaurs. He thought I was nuts. Well, I am...but now he knows it's true! Remind me to tell you a story about sleestacks.)
A To Do List for the Week:
  • Soph has gym tomorrow night.
  • Jack needs to go swim.
  • Sam will have a make-up piano day one evening this week from missing today's lesson.
  • We're going camping in March, and I need to call the place we're headed to
  • Call and schedule Jack's appointment ASAP with the pediatric endodontist.
  • Make arrangements for our road trip at Spring Break (vomit clause intact)
  • Call B&B to confirm reservations for Valentine's Day weekend in Natchitoches.
