I hope the weeks continue to fly by at warp speed like they have been doing since Christmas. At this rate, it'll be June before we know it! I don't know about you folks, but I am ready for summer. I'd settle for a Good Solid Spring, though. Most of my students will be finished with classes on May 21st, since our district has opted to do the optional flexible year end that the state has offered. Even though our school calendar goes through June 5 (or is it 6th?), most will meet the requirements for early outing. YAY! I believe 2 thirds of my own children will also meet the standards....not sure about one third of them.
PDad is gone to load his equipment for this week on the semi, so I'm sitting here trying to figure what it is I should be doing. I have the laundry finished. Backpacks are ready for tomorrow. Kitchen is clean. Bathrooms are clean. For some bizarre reason, it feels like there is something I am supposed to be doing. Oh well, must not be important...yeah, right!
DaddyP will leave on Tuesday eve, so I'm glad he doesn't have anything today or tomorrow. Sophy has gym tomorrow night, but that is as far as our plans go....well, other than Jack's doc appointment tomorrow at the ped opthamologist. I'm wondering if I will have to get him in to the pediatrician on Monday as well. The rash that was almost gone has come back. I had a sub for a half day, and I really need to go to school for a bit tomorrow if for no other reason than to help set up for the baby shower we're having after school that I kind of ramrodded. Hopefully I won't have to hand that off to some poor, unsuspecting soul.
I may be MIA this week...chasing my tail. Friday I have plans with some gals and then to pick PDaddy up at the airport late. May not hear from me between now and then, but I'll try!
NOTE TO TRISTIN: I just got your note! You're right it IS Sunday! I'll be dialing your digits shortly sistah! Fid'na hollah!
