The Day

Today was about 4 days long, but in middle school terms, that's about average...so I guess today was pretty normal. We've had a few days of springish weather, so the kids are starting to get twitterpated with each other. Oy. The boys are more hormonal than the girls, and that is saying something at this stage. Blech. Anyway, maybe the moon phases will change or winter will snap back where it's supposed to be or something.
Jack and DaddyP are swimming at the LC, and Sam and Sophy are somewhere being very quiet. Never a good sign, but I haven't heard anything even close to quiet all day. So I'm gonna go with it for a few more minutes before investigating. Yet again, we got our homework done before we left school, so it's all done, and we're ready for the evening. DaddyP is cooking tonight which means he'll probably stop at Chili's for ToGo. Fine with me...I've been loving their buffalo wing, bleu cheese salad thing. Hold on while I wipe the slobber off of my chin.
I've a few loads of laundry lined up before supper, so I better get on that. Otherwise we'll be running around Natchitoches in our skivvies this weekend, and frankly, I'm sure there are codes against such behavior. If not, it could be an interesting visit.
