Tea Party

We attended a tea party birthday today at Roseville. This is the place where all of the cousin girls have our tea party every spring. It was nice, but with our temps hitting in the 80's today, the old house was a wee bit stuffy! The girls were all sugar & spice.
You may recall that tonight is the night that PDaddy and I were to go to Natchitoches for 2 nights, but we rescheduled our B&B dates to Valentine's weekend due to my mom's foot surgery & Sophy's tea party today that we didn't really plan on but didn't want to miss. So, we'll be looking forward to that come February. PDaddy is shooting a wedding tonight, so we're just playing We Skii. I'm telling you, we are getting our Santa's $ worth out of this Wii he got us for Christmas. We've been enjoying our 2 week break by having a "Wii Off" (Get it? We off. As in...we're off...get it? HAHHA. ok.) every night after supper and baths. Anyway, we broke their hearts today by telling them that there would be no wii on school nights. I wish I had been recording their faces when I told them. Horror!
Speaking of the S-word, we'll spend tomorrow after church getting backpacks ready, lunch boxes lined up, laundry laundrified, etc. Sigh. I'm ready for summer.
Oh, and speaking of tea parties + the S-word, a girl I taught 11 years ago (ELEVEN) was at the birthday tea today. O. M. G. How old am I? That is the burning question.

I like the pics of your family on the side of your blog. Sadly, I will never experience a tea party. Not sure how my boys would like dressing up in their pretties to have a "pinkies out" party. Wait...a PINKIES out party. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL. Oh my goodness, I crack myself up!
