Rach and I had a warm cozy today even though the skies threatened rain. We had a bit of brunch and tea in town and a short visit to an Unmentionable Store. Good visit, and PDaddy was nice enough to corral the posse at home while I went. He had pics this afternoon, so I made it home in time for him to make it to his shoot. I came home and started on my long neglected laundry and de-frocking the house of it's Christmas attire. With one more week off, I wanted to spend my days doing things I would enjoy without laundry and Christmas undoings hanging over my head. I'll consider myself caught up tomorrow when I have the rest of the laundry finished. I'm not sure if Piano Girl will come tomorrow or not, but I imagine she will.
My mom has surgery scheduled for Monday at noon, so I'm going to attempt to get my eye appointment that I scheduled before I knew about her surgery out of the way before heading to the hospital later on. Should be an interesting morning with all 3 kids in tow to the eye doctor and then to the hospital. Other than helping my mom out if she needs it, the rest of the week is unscheduled. Not sure of our New Year's plans. DaddyP has work and more work all week, so I'm not sure what's planned for ringing in the new year. Maybe I'll ring it in while I sleep! GREAT IDEA!
