We may or may not be going to some friend's house for dinner tonight, but PDaddy has engagement pics. Not sure yet if we'll go or not. Speaking of PDaddy, he is across the street at our cul-de-sac neighbor's garage sale. They have 3 daughters in high school and college, and I'm interested in any type of girlie furniture they may be wanting to rid themselves of. I promised Sophy that we would re-do her room for her birthday, since we didn't do anything to it when we moved in. I think he is trying to save himself some $ by doing my shopping for her room re-do at local garage sales. Ha! My first two purchases are going to have to be a curio cabinet for her Josef Originals birthday angels and a white bunk bed. This is the bedding that she wants. It will interesting to see how close I can match the look without having to buy every piece of it. Buying a few strategic pillows, the bed skirt, and maybe the sheets and then plugging in pieces from a different source may save me, oh I dunno, about $17,000 from buying it all at Pottery Barn. Still, I love this too. It's precious. So, that's that.
I really need to get on the ball and figure out what to do about Sam's birthday. It's insane how fast they creep up. He has asked for a skateboard ramp and a trumpet for his birthday. Oy! See the difference between a boy and a girl? One wants her room made pretty. The other wants to break bones and make noise.
My tea is hot, so I'm going outside where it is so cool. This weather we are having is so strange, but who am I to complain?

lovely bedding choice, Sophy! You must get the 'owl plush'! Too cute! And good luck with the saving. I usually try not to look at the catalogs they send, cause I love it all!
