A day in the life of Mrs. Crazy and her children. Oh, and Man #4.

Gee, where do I start? We had a follow up appt this a.m. with the pediatrician to make sure Sam was indeed over the Ebola illness that occured while visiting my SIL/bro this past weekend. He still has a slight fever and no appetite, but she seemed to think that we were on the tail end of the entero virus (Click to read). If you've not heard of it, it's listed right there on the Lysol bottle along with AIDS, Rotavirus and Hepatitis. YAY! Basically, it's just a summer bug, or so the Ped. said.
After the doc, we ate lunch at Jason's deli which was insanely busy, but the food was good. The boy's eye glasses were in (did I mention here that Sam has to have reading glasses?), so we stopped at the eye place to have them fitted. Jack's prescription had changed a good bit, and Sam has a significant stigmatism, so we're all set for school to start. Sophy cried because she said she "was blind and always had been and couldn't believe that her mama wouldn't buy her glasses and now she was going to be a failure in first grade." How is that for guilt?! Ha. I think she just wanted the pink pair of glasses she tried on while we waited.
I think PDaddy is grilling for us tonight after his high school band photo shoot. I'm sad that the Michael Phelps events are coming to an end. Jack will be distraught. I can not tell you how much he has enjoyed watching the Games. I don't think he has been to bed before 11:00p.m. in the last week.
I have just a few minutes before I have to leave for a hair appointment, so I better scoot! Oh, btw, what did you think of Man #4?
