Conversations with Sophy

As always, an interesting conversation:
Sophy:
Mom, Katy (cousin) and I made a card for God and His son Jesus.
Me:
Wow, that was really sweet of you guys.
Sophy:
Yeah, only guess what I drew on the back of the card for God?
Me:
Oh gee, I can't help but wonder.
Sophy:
A SQUID!
Me:
Whhooee. A squid? Wow.
Sophy:
Uh-huh, 'cause He actually invented them!

Random Comments and Observations From Sophy:
Oh My Goodness, Mom! We have fungi in our yard!! (When she realized we had giant mushrooms growing in our yard.)
Yep. I always eat while I'm exercising. That's just one of my mottos. (While she lifted 2 pound weights while eating popcorn.)
One day, when I go to the Olynfics, I'm going to actually swim the octopus stroke. It's gonna be so awesome! Obviously in reference to the Olynfics. Haha.
Oh man. That was the worst nightmare of my life, and now my spine is rotting. (Referring to exceptionally long and drawn out room cleaning.)
Did you know that if you get caught in acid rain that it makes you terribly, terribly dead?
