Bones, Parties, Fairies, & Tonsils

Behold, the 10 year old! Double-digits. Whoa. The day started off with rain, but we were able to have the swimming party. Jack now officially considers himself 10 years old. Eek. After the party, we went to eat Mexican per request of the birthday kid with my folks. They took the boys with them to spend the night, since we have to be at the hospital in the a.m. at 5:30. Double Eek. After the Mexican chow, PDaddy and I took Soph to Target to pick up a few things to keep her occupied and still/quiet for the next couple of days. We found a really cute kit that makes a rag doll that I'm pretty excited about. Ha! She also picked out a few sand art projects and a little book that makes fairies out of paper. Hopefully we will not be insane when the post-surgery days are over.
PDaddy is feeling better and has his appetite MOSTLY back. The pain is still a factor, but nothing like it was when the bone was near-protruding through the skin. Obviously. Speaking of the Dadster, he is watching a horror movie that I am trying my best to pretend isn't on. It's really creeping me out. Turistas? Have you seen this? I'm trying not to see it.
Maybe I'll go read in the tub.
