Where are you in Florida? We will be in Ft. Walton! Hopefully it won't rain there next week. EEK! We've been to Florida for several years in a row now, and it has never rained. I'd say we're past due for a RAINY time!

We are in Fort Myers, on the Southern Gulf Coast, just north of Naples. It rains here just about every day from mid June through mid September. Just an effect of the warm breezes from both coasts meeting up and causing unstable air overhead. Personally, I love love love the rain, the thunder and the lightning. As long as I am inside, that is. I have never been to Ft. Walton, so I am not sure what the weather is like there. There seems to be a line about half way down the state that makes the weather different from the northern side to the southern side. Hope you get the best weather possible for your trip. Have a great time!
P.S. No hurricanes are brewing down in the Carribean, so no worries there! :)
