Did I ever post a pic after the painting of the headboard? Since this photo, we have added a window seat. Why am I always a week behind with my pics?On Labor Day, we went out to lunch (my way of not laboring), and we also let the kids out in the wilderness for some fresh air, a game of hide and seek, and overall craziness. Want to see some pics? Sure you do.

Yes, Sam has a dog stuffed in his pants. The dog's name is Happy, and he has taken every step Sam has taken for the last 5 years. Happy cried the day Sam went to kindergarten, but Sam told him all about it when he made it home. Actually, Happy got to see Sam's class room at Open House, so that eased a lot of the depression he had been experiencing. Happy is a real dog. Just so you know. ((PS Happy reminds us of Hobbes. You can further deduce that Sam reminds us of Calvin. Uh-huh.))

Sophy's room is so perfectly Sophy. I love it. And I'm glad it's finally the year of the cardigan because I've been sporting the "granny sweater" look for years.
The room is adorable and so are the kids. I am glad it is the year of the cardigan too as I own one or two -- or maybe more. ;)
Whoo hoo, Cardigans!! Can't wait to update my wardrobe!
Your babes look so happy and carefree running around like that. And to see them running up a hill is great...here in Southern Florida, the land is all flat and we have no hills. None. Maybe a dirt mound here and there where the neverending construction is going on, but no real hills. No rolling down the grassy slopes for my kids. Gosh, my kids will have so many different memories than DH and I. No hills, no piles of fall leaves to jump into (of course, none to rake up either!), no snow days...BUT WAIT, we do get hurricane days! Those are a complete drag, since you are forced to stay inside all day. At least on a snow day you get to go out and play! Anyway...it is so nice to see pics of the kids. And Sophy's room looks great. Take Care.
